Grandpa
I can sit here and say that I am one lucky lady to have had my Grandpa in my life for as long as I did. He passed away in his sleep on September 10th at the age of 93.
He was an amazing man who loved to fish, hunt, play cards, and give out the best hugs!! He loved to watch the hummingbirds and be outside. He lived a full and wonderful life.
His Funeral was truly a celebration of his life. Nate told me the other day that he hoped I wouldn't be offended by this..but he had a great time with my family those few days. I love him for saying that and I know that's the way Grandpa would have wanted it! Who wouldn't want there life to be celebrated in this way.
I love you Grandpa and You'll always have a special place in my heart!
This is the Poem I read at his Funeral....
I know we are all feeling a little bit sad,That we've lost our Grandpa, our friend and our dad
Together we have cried an ocean of tears
As we feel so empty and hold many fears
But Grandpa would want us to know he's in a good place
And that he watching us all with a smile on his face
As we have made him so proud, as proud as can be
That he has raised such a beautiful and special family
Thinking back now I really must say
I feel lucky and privileged to have known Grandpa to this day
For in my life, you have played a special part
The memories I will treasure and keep close to your heart
For me I am glad my little baby he got to meet
And for all of us, be grateful, his life is now complete
To each one of us he has loved and cared
And a family, be thankful for the good times we shared
Although he has gone we will always be together
And his spirit will live on each one of us forever
When you look to the sky, look for the brightest star
As that will be Grandpa looking down on us from afar
And now I would like to thank the good Lord above
For blessing us with our Grandpa with his kindness and love
Dear God, if it is not too much fuss
Take extra special care of our Grandpa as he is very dear to us
Grandpa if you are listening say a prayer for us every day
Be sure to protect us and guide us on our way
We know when God called you, you had to go
But we want you to know Grandpa we miss you and love you so

Cookie Cutters
So Brock was long overdue for a haircut. I had previously cut his hair twice because this kids hair just grows so fast. Nate said I wasn't allowed to cut his hair anymore and it was time we took him somewhere...haha!! So off to Cookie Cutters we went. He did so good, I was honestly shocked at how still he was! He looks like such a big boy now!!
Before.......YIKES

Not to sure about this

Jentri Grace
10 months old
In just a month I feel like Brock has learned how to do so many fun new things...Here's what our little ones been up to.
Hes giving kisses....We are totally abusing this but he loves to give them out!!: )
He's waving bye bye
He'll play peek a boo. He will put the blanket over his face I say wheres the baby and he pulls it down and giggles!!
He loves to jabber. Yesterday Nate took him out fishing. I asked Brock if he caught a big fish and he was just jabbering back and fourth with me. If I only knew what he was saying!!
He's going to bed around 8 and waking up around 6:30 He's not getting any more pureed foods. He wants nothing to do with it. He loves his finger foods. He really likes peaches, beans, pears, cheese, toast, pancakes, honestly anything I put in front of the kid.
He's starting to walk along things now. He's standing on his own but will only step when you're holding his hands.
His personality is making it's appearance. Say no..he'll shake his head no then look right at me and do exactly what I told him not to do! He's already broke 2 of Mommy's vases!!! Lord help me!! haha
