Baby Food

So I've always wanted to try to make Brock's baby food instead of buying it. One because I like knowing exactly what I'm feeding him and Two it saves $$$! I wasn't really sure to begin with if it was worth it. I didn't know exactly how much time would have to go into it and i didn't really have a baby food blender to use.

Well my whole thought process changed when my mom bought me the Baby bullet!! It's a spin off of the magic bullet! LOVE IT!!!!!!


Making Brock's food is EASY PEASY!!! So far I've made Peas(his favorite) Pears, Avocado, Apples, Bananas, and Sweet Potatoes.

I'll also make his rice cereal. I bought two boxes before we got the bullet so were using those up first!! I make large batches so I can freeze some to use for later!!

I just purchased this recipe book a couple days ago!! Can't wait to try out some new foods!!

This lil peanut is now 5 months old......

Fun things were doing now..

*Introducing solids. I'm making his baby food and love it. I'll post about it later!

*Hes rolling over from his back to belly and doesn't last very long once he's on his belly.. Still not a big fan!

*Plays with his hair when he takes a bottle now! Too Cute!

*He's sitting up better with support

*Loves his tootsies!!

*I'm still waiting for those teeth to pop through..I keep saying any day now!!

*He is now obsessed with Ollie. He follows him wherever he moves. He'll bend backwards just to see him and he'll grin from ear to ear!! :0 He loves ollies hair 2! Ollie..not so much!

*Last time i weighed him he was 18 lbs!!

4 Months

Where to begin..

This month has been a great months of First's for us..

*First time rolling over. Ill come back to find him on his belly looking at me like "I did it"

*First plane ride. He slept the whole way there and flirted with the girls behind us on the way home

*First Family Vacation. We went to Florida and it was amazing! We had such a great week with our family! Brock loved being outside and being a beach bum!!

*First taste of Rice Cereal and he gobbles it all up fast!!!

*First bath in a sink!! haha!

*First outside stroller ride

Brock is getting so big! At his 4 month check up he weighed 16lbs 13 oz and was 25 3/4" long

*He loves to smile and is such a happy natured baby!

*He's sleeping 10-12 hours at night

*His head control is so much better and he's holding it higher when hes on his belly

*He likes to blow bubbles with his slobber!!

*He laughs out loud.... especially when you say boo!

*His hair is still out of control but its getting a little bit longer in the back so gravity is starting to pull it down a little bit!

*He's still not to sure about Ollie and I think the feeling is mutual!!

*He's finally enjoying car rides more and he doesn't mind being in his carseat.

We can't wait for all the fun memories that are still to come!!!! :)
