I sort of forgot about the blogging world for a little while and i'm kinda upset with myself for doing that. I want to be able to look back on these post as a sort of memory lane for when Brock was little. So i've missed almost two full months...yikes. Time to start up again, but where to begin....
Brock is almost 14 months now and he's full of all kinds of boy like energy. He's such a busy body, i wish i could show you a picture of my tree which is naked from the bottom half way up!! He loves the tree and all of it's decorations. He's cutting all four molar teeth at the same time, fun! He loves to dance and talks all kinds of jibberish. He does say ollie and strangely enough he says who is it which is pretty darn cute. We are looking forward to spending christmas this year with family. I'm sure brock will love all the paper and boxes.

Buddies
Brock seriously loves our little fluffy dog ollie!! I really can't tell you how much he is obsessed with him. Whenever he sees him he throws himself on him, gives him kisses, calls for him when he can't find him, and poor little ollie just takes it all!! I love that they are such good friends!

Brock's 1st Birthday
Brock turned the big #1 on the 28th! I can't believe he's 1 already. We celebrated his birthday on the 15th with friends and family. The theme was owls and the colors were a teal blue and orange. He was little overwhelmed at first but warmed up when it came time to open presents. It was a great day filled with lot of love! Enjoy

Childrens Museum
We took B-man to the childrens musuem the other day for the first time. I finally let my germ guard down and let him have at it! lol.. He had so much fun and loved the playscape part. He liked seeing all the other kids there. He did get a little smack in the face.. but you can't go to the playscape and expect to not come out with a runny nose and a couple run in's with the other kiddos.. All in all it was a great visit!

Pumpkin Patch
Nate had to use up his vacation time so the Ledford's had a whole week off together!! It's been so great and we've been trying to fill it with as many things as we possibly can. First was the big birthday party on Saturday(post to come later)...then Sunday we went to Stoneycreek farm. I love it there. We took Bella last year and she had a blast...I was about 8 1/2 months pregnant during that time so it was fun to be able to actually take Brock this year!

Sorry this one is a little late....as I'm writing this I'm thinking that in just a few short weeks this lil boy will be a year old...am I ready..no!! People always say soak up every moment because it goes by so fast and boy does it ever.
* Brock is now walking...He's still a little wobbly but once he gets going he practically sprints across the room!
* He loves his daddy!! They are best buddies and it's to stinkin cute! Nate's a fabulous dad!
* He's now on whole milk..we're down to a bottle in the morning and a bottle at night..sippy cup of milk with his lunch. He's adjusting well.
* He talks up a storm. If I only knew what he was saying..sometimes i swear he's telling me off!!
* He loves playing with his big cousin Bella.. She's great with him!
His big first birthday party is coming up this weekend..Soo excited! We'll take lots of pictures to post later.

Grandpa
I can sit here and say that I am one lucky lady to have had my Grandpa in my life for as long as I did. He passed away in his sleep on September 10th at the age of 93.
He was an amazing man who loved to fish, hunt, play cards, and give out the best hugs!! He loved to watch the hummingbirds and be outside. He lived a full and wonderful life.
His Funeral was truly a celebration of his life. Nate told me the other day that he hoped I wouldn't be offended by this..but he had a great time with my family those few days. I love him for saying that and I know that's the way Grandpa would have wanted it! Who wouldn't want there life to be celebrated in this way.
I love you Grandpa and You'll always have a special place in my heart!
This is the Poem I read at his Funeral....
I know we are all feeling a little bit sad,That we've lost our Grandpa, our friend and our dad
Together we have cried an ocean of tears
As we feel so empty and hold many fears
But Grandpa would want us to know he's in a good place
And that he watching us all with a smile on his face
As we have made him so proud, as proud as can be
That he has raised such a beautiful and special family
Thinking back now I really must say
I feel lucky and privileged to have known Grandpa to this day
For in my life, you have played a special part
The memories I will treasure and keep close to your heart
For me I am glad my little baby he got to meet
And for all of us, be grateful, his life is now complete
To each one of us he has loved and cared
And a family, be thankful for the good times we shared
Although he has gone we will always be together
And his spirit will live on each one of us forever
When you look to the sky, look for the brightest star
As that will be Grandpa looking down on us from afar
And now I would like to thank the good Lord above
For blessing us with our Grandpa with his kindness and love
Dear God, if it is not too much fuss
Take extra special care of our Grandpa as he is very dear to us
Grandpa if you are listening say a prayer for us every day
Be sure to protect us and guide us on our way
We know when God called you, you had to go
But we want you to know Grandpa we miss you and love you so

Cookie Cutters
So Brock was long overdue for a haircut. I had previously cut his hair twice because this kids hair just grows so fast. Nate said I wasn't allowed to cut his hair anymore and it was time we took him somewhere...haha!! So off to Cookie Cutters we went. He did so good, I was honestly shocked at how still he was! He looks like such a big boy now!!
Before.......YIKES
whats happening momma!!
Not to sure about this
